About the event
This national Rural Economic Development Regional Forum will take place June 12 & 13, 2024. The 2024 Regional Forum will be held at the beautiful Hotel Winnesheik & Opera House in Decorah, Iowa. This event, the Stand Up Rural America Regional Forum, will feature eight nationally renowned subject matter experts and successful economic development practitioners. Topics to be covered include planning, leadership, housing, entrepreneurship, downtown revitalization, marketing, regionalism, BRE, workforce, arts & culture, tourism, communications, livability, case studies and more!
Enjoy an event designed specifically for rural communities. You will receive tangible tools and strategies to help your cities, counties and regions grow! This summit is designed for Economic Development Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, Cities, Counties, Utilities, Lenders, Workforce Development, Community Organizations, Elected Officials, Industry Leaders and those with a vested interest in the growth and prosperity of Rural America.
Previous Stand Up Rural America Summits have been held in Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentucky, Kansas and Mississippi. The 2024 Stand Up Rural America Summit will be held in French Lick, Indiana July 20 - August 1, 2024.
