About the event
This national Rural Economic Development Summit will take place July 39-July 31, 2025. The 2025 Summit will be held in Canyon, Texas (and surrounding amenities). This event, the Stand Up Rural America Summit, will feature more than 20 nationally renowned subject matter experts and successful economic development practitioners. Topics to be covered include planning, leadership, housing, entrepreneurship, downtown revitalization, marketing, regionalism, BRE, workforce, arts & culture, tourism, communications, livability, case studies and more! Â

Ticket for Post-Summit Tour!
$50 per person for the Thursday afternoon Post-Summit Best of Texas Tour. The afternoon and event event will include a bus tour of some iconic Texas Panhandle area landmarks, a stop at the Panhandle Plains Historical Museum, a box lunch, a BBQ Dinner and one ticket to the Play TEXAS down in Palo Duro Canyon. Transportation will be provided to/from the Happy State Bank Event Center. Buses will leave at 12:30 pm and will return immediately following the conclusion of the play. Reservation required
