I’d like to personally invite you to this national Rural Economic Development event taking place July 30-August 1, 2024. Our exciting host city for our 2024 Summit is French Lick, Indiana. The event will be held at the dynamic French Lick Resort and other special locations around the area. The 2024 Stand Up Rural America Summit will feature more than 20 nationally renowned subject matter experts and successful economic development practitioners.
Topics to be covered include planning, leadership, entrepreneurship, downtown revitalization, rural tourism, innovative marketing, business retention & expansion, effective communications, rural retail development, diverse housing, talent development, best practices and much more. We will also be presenting the 2024 Jim Walton Impact Award and recognizing our 2024 Rural Trailblazers. And as always, the networking will be off the charts.

This event is packed with informative and dynamic panels, presentations, discussions, networking and celebrating what makes Rural America special. The Stand Up Rural America program has held highly successful events in Tulsa OK, Charleston WV, Somerset KY, Mulvane KS and Laurel MS while garnering high praise for the superior level of speakers, quality content and excellent networking opportunities.
This Summit is coordinated and hosted by ACCELERATION by design LLC. It has been my privilege to work with more than 300 rural communities and regions throughout my 30+ year economic development career. We're Headed to Iowa!
I'd like to personally invite you to participate in the Stand Up Rural America Regional Forum to be held in Decorah, Iowa on June 12-13, 2024. This Stand Up Rural America Regional Forum will feature eight nationally renowned subject matter experts, rural trailblazers, positive disruptors and successful economic development practitioners. This Forum is perfect for Economic Development Organizations, Chambers of Commerce, Cities, Counties, Regional Groups, Utilities, Industry Leaders, Lenders, Board Members, Elected Officials, Community Volunteers, Local Businesses and anyone with a vested interest in the growth and prosperity of Rural America.
We will be holding this SURA Regional Forum at the beautiful Hotel Winneshiek & Opera House, located at 104 E Water St in Decorah, IA 52101. The program will begin at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 12th, with registration, exhibits and networking. The Forum program will begin at 3:00 pm on Wednesday and end at 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 13th. A special networking event will be held on the evening of June 12th.
