Meet Lorie Vincent & ACCELERATION by design LLC

Lorie Vincent is a nationally recognized economic development strategist, speaker, trainer, author, and founder of ACCELERATION by design LLC. Based outside of Austin, Texas, she has spent more than three decades helping communities, regions, and organizations accelerate economic growth through strategic planning, downtown revitalization, leadership development, entrepreneurship initiatives, workforce strategies, and community engagement. A Certified Economic Developer (CEcD), Lorie is known for her energetic speaking style, practical approach, and strong advocacy for rural America, regional collaboration, and locally driven economic development solutions.

In addition to consulting and speaking throughout the United States, Lorie is the author of the best-selling book Stand Up Rural America and the founder of Stand Up Rural America, a national collection of initiatives focused on strengthening rural communities and economies. She has addressed over 750 audiences, facilitated strategic initiatives for communities of all sizes, and built a reputation as a passionate consensus builder who combines humor, real-world experience, and actionable ideas to help communities create sustainable growth and prosperity. Her work emphasizes turning vision into action while celebrating the unique assets and opportunities found in rural and small-town America.
